6 Months

So in less thatn a week it will be 6 months since I quit smoking. Didn't think I'd make it this far... I thought for sure I'd break at the Festival but I didn't! :) Hope everyone is well. It was great seeing Rod, Kathy and Muggs at the Festival. And seeing Lindsays pictures were awesome! :)

Lyndsay,s adventure

Well, after some hurried errands Lyndsay finally is on her way to Thailand accompanied with her friend Angela. She packed one large pack and used another smaller one for her carry on which she wore on her chest while the other engulfed her back, she looked so small. Had an e-mail from her this am to let us know they arived in Japan awaiting the next leg of their trip to Thailand, safe, but a little smelly.lol Will miss her! Hope she takes alot of photo,s to share with us all. Bye for now and Rod and I will be up for the festival along with Meaghan and her boyfriend Greg....See you then!!!! Kathy

10 days and counting

So here we are going on 10 days and counting.. I've had some rough days - day 4 and 5 were hard but i've managed to get thru them Today is crappy but only because i didn't sleep well last night but i'm toughing it out. I've been accepted onto the Stop Study program through the Ministry of Health so they are going to provide me with 5 weeks of the patches. I should be receiving them shortly. So i take one day at a time..

Fish Kissage

This is me kissing a fish at the MBA International Potluck a couple of weeks ago. The crew from Newfoundland did a "Screeching In" ritual for all of us from outside the Atlantic provinces. Rob (the guy in yellow - born and bred Newfoundlander!) made sure I got a big fish mouthful. Good thing you follow the kissing with a shot of strong, dark rum. Good times in the east I tell ya!
